I have recently become interested in the shooting sports. It is extremely exciting, and empowering to controll an almost indistructable piece of machinery, which contains more power than one can easily comprehend.
With the proper training, almost anyone can handle a firearm, with safety and confidence. This will provide an adult hobby that will give much enjoyment and years of fellowship with other shooting enthusiasts.
I believe that women, especially, can benefit from the empowerment and confidence this skill can provide. Although men have been involved with shooting for years, women have recently become interested in large numbers, and the industry is taking notice and is providing resources and equipment to meet the needs of these women.
